Driver Trainers & Mentors

We highly-value the experience and patience of a seasoned driver, and we’re proud of our elite team of Universal Driver Trainers and Mentors. Our goal is to evaluate and improve the driving skills of all Universal drivers so that we’re all delivering a safe and satisfactory performance both internally and externally. We’re privileged to offer a diverse range of on-going training programs including Orientation Training, New Driver Development, Flatbed Development and Contractor Development.

For example, Orientation Training is for newly hired drivers and those who may only have military or driving school experience to become familiar with company policies, rules, regulations and standard operating procedures. Contractor Development is for future contractor candidates seeking a second chance and current drivers needing detailed training and close oversight to meet our company’s standards. Either way, our goal is to provide the education and necessary training to raise the safety and competency level of all our drivers while identifying and resolving any potential issues before they become actual problems.

If you want to advance your career and earn up to an additional $10,000 more per year while enjoying the rewarding experience of developing new drivers, ask us how to get started. A Universal Capacity Development Recruiter will gladly tell you how to become a Universal Driver Trainer and Mentor.
